Question by kitsukitty: How to say the animal sound “yip” in Japanese?
I’m entering a contest on deviantart, about a cute mascot. I really like japanese culture and language, so I’d like to know how to say this..
“yip” like a little dog might bark.
I know that “bark, bark”/”bark, woof”/ etc. is “wan wan”

I’d like to know “yip” if there is a word for it. If you can, please write it in japanese characters and also english letters.

キャンキャン (kyan kyan like ” can can”) is a sound of a puppy barking.
So to yip as a verb is ” キャンキャン ほえる”( kyan kyan hoeru.)
good luck!
