“Jacob”, a minature pinscher, contracted tetanus. Through heroic efforts at Penn Vet School Hospital, he survived tentanus, but now his front legs are fixed in permanent extensions. With the help of Jacob’s dad, a mechanical engineer for DuPont, we developed a two-wheel doggie wheelchair to help Jacob get around. Boy, does Jacob move now – especially for food!
