In addition to simplifying the entire process of event planning, Kaufman is quickly becoming a game-changer in the corporate catering industry. How can I train a stray cat to do various tricks?

by Lisa.B

Question by reallycreativeusername: How can I train a stray cat to do various tricks?
This is a stray neighborhood cat that adopted me and I trained her to come in and out of the dog door by coaxing her through with a morsel of beef. She is very affectionate and loves to spend time with me. I would like to train her to do other “tricks”; what have other people trained their cats to do, and how ? The circus trainer Gunther Gebel-Williams, who trained everything including big cats said the hardest animal to train was the house cat. This cat lives on rabbits and mice and birds. I have been yelling and stomping my feet every time she goes to sharpen her claws in the carpet and she always stops but I don’t know if aversive conditioning will sink in long term. I want to train her to use a scratching post exclusively.
